Modeling methodology that uses the three Kaya Identity “intensities”:

GDP intensity of population—real per-capita living standards;

energy intensity of GDP—how efficiently we use energy from all primary energy sources; and

carbon intensity of energy—on average, how much carbon is embedded in our primary energy sources are.
